Flooded Basement

This basement suffered extensive damage following multiple pipe breaks on the first floor. The property owners were not home at the time of the loss resulting in water running for a significant time prior to being noticed. Part of the home is on a slab and the other half has a full basement. The water supply line in the master bathroom burst and flooded under the slab. The material under the structure started to seep into the basement causing major damage. This situation required not only pumping out the water but also hand excavation and lots of labor to restore the property to pre loss condition.
